Between 12 November and 16 December, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Liège is hosting the exhibition of the prizewinning projects in the Euregional Award for Architecture. This transnational award (Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany) is organised by the schools of architecture of the Meuse-Rhine Euregion (Liège, Hasselt, Maastricht and Aachen).

The Euregional Award for Architecture has been presented since 1991 and has enjoyed inter-institutional cooperation since 1995. The intensive interaction between education, practical training, institutes of architecture and schools of architecture has led to a unique cross-border project.

The award is intended to offer talented people, such as architects, engineers and town planners, a platform making it easier for them to break into the professional world. And, on the same platform, the participating institutes are ready to present their work to an international audience and familiarise themselves with educational methods.

The annual award presentation ceremony and exhibition of participants are organised alternately in the countries of the Meuse-Rhine Euregion, strengthening and advancing its European character and ensuring cross-border cooperation.

In 2016, the presentation ceremony for the 26th Euregional Award for architecture takes place in Hangar B9 - ESA Saint-Luc in Liège.
