Teledyne ICM secures one of the world's most luxurious hotels

Based in the Plenesses industrial park in the Liege region, the company Teledyne ICM manufactures X-ray products and imaging systems. It has just delivered a mobile X-ray scanner to the security department at Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai, one of the world's most luxurious hotels that also wants to improve the safety of its guests.

With its 23 floors, 1539 rooms, 19 restaurants and an impressive offer of entertainment facilities (water park, aquarium, clubs and even a monorail station) Atlantis, The Palm is one of the world's most luxurious establishments. Located on the private island of the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, it accommodates many celebrities, tourists, businessmen and government representatives.  Concern for guest safety has grown since the terrorist attack in June 2015 at the Riu Imperial Marhaba Hotel in Souse (Tunisia).

The hotel therefore decided to use the Walloon company Teledyne ICM, specialising in portable x-ray equipment. The hotel has just purchased a mobile x-ray scanner, the Flatscan 30, from the company which will enable it to inspect luggage and other parcels in any location. Among those present on the market, this system developed by and for bomb disposal experts offers the best accessibility and scanning while being particularly light and easy to use.
