The choreographer Thomas Hauert in Switzerland

As part of the Programme Commun, the Théâtre Sévelin in Lausanne is hosting the new work created by Thomas Hauert, Inaudible on 18 and 19 March.

With his new group piece for six dancers, Thomas Hauert explores the question of "interpretation". The artist's interpretation and that of the spectator converge here to give birth to the artistic experience.

For this creation, Thomas Hauert has brought together his loyal band of dancers, some of whom have been working with him for over a decade. Together, they question the concept of interpretation, whether it characterises the performance of a work or the meaning given to a sign.
