The EU-China Logistics Incubator was created using the combined strengths of AWEX (Wallonia Export-Investment Agency), Liège Airport and Logistics in Wallonia. The incubator is based on the site of Bierset airport and will help Chinese businesses wanting to set up in Wallonia.

It will provide customised support for Chinese businesses that want to use Wallonia as a European base for developing their activities. This incubator is a first in Europe and will be managed by a Chinese citizen who has been living in Belgium for several years.

"This initiative is an additional step towards making Wallonia the perfect host area for Chinese logistics businesses wanting to serve the European market", stated AWEX, Liège Airport and Logistics in Wallonia.

The incubator will provide a range of services in collaboration with the project's initiators, including the provision of office space and a postal address, assistance in looking for a warehouse and/or a local logistics partner, easy access to all the public and private stakeholders responsible for economic development, access to a network of businesses linked to AWEX, Liège Airport and Logistics in Wallonia and assistance in creating employment and investment aid dossiers.
