My name is Guillaume de Ryckel and I'm the founder of www.barbe-a-papa.be, a website that lets you rent a professional candy floss machine in just a few clicks. Ever since I was a child, I've been fascinated by the world of the fairground. Candy floss, popcorn and chocolate fountains have always been a dream of mine, so much so that my mum gave me my first popcorn machine 20 years ago. My grandmother followed soon after with a candy floss machine. Of course, they were just toys, but the idea kept going round and round in my head until the day I decided to create my own website.

At www.barbe-a-papa.be you can rent a professional candy floss machine, imported directly from the USA, for all your events. But that's not all: you can also rent a professional popcorn machine. From small machines to XXL models, we have numerous models in stock ready to brighten up your evenings. Chocolate lovers won't be left out either, as we provide a whole range of chocolate fountains for hire. From the small 50 cm model to the one over a metre high, chocolate will be flowing.

One day in 2020, during the first confinement, the idea came to me to set up the website. Right from the start, I wanted to focus on a modern, welcoming site with the option to book and pay directly online. After many hours of work and countless sleepless nights, the site was ready. The first rental requests came in shortly afterwards, and I hadn't even received my first candy floss machines yet! A good omen for the future.

In view of this success, I later decided to expand the number of machines available for rental. It is now possible to rent a hot dog maker for an American party, a professional pancake maker for Candlemas, a range of waffle makers (Liège waffles, Brussels waffles, heart-shaped waffles, lollipop waffles, Bubble Waffle, etc.), a large-capacity professional deep fryer for flea markets and fancy fairs, a panini maker for school parties and even an ice maker for all those who love parties and music!

Free cancellation is possible up to 72 hours before you pick up the machine, so there's no reason not to take advantage of it.
