The Training Institute for Nurses and Obstetricians (IFSIO), which was founded at Parakou University in October 2015, has just released its first graduates.
The official graduation ceremony was held on Saturday 20 April at Parakou University.
A total of 70 students, of which 33 midwives and 37 professional state-qualified nurses, received their degree and made a formal oath following a three-year training, involving both theory and practice.
This ceremony is an important accomplishment for the APEFE (association for the promotion of education and training abroad), which has been actively supporting this establishment ever since its foundation, by providing material for training and education.
