Only 19 years old at the time, Marta impressed Cartier’s judges with La Reine du Temps, a clock inspired by the world of bees. Her piece deftly combined enamelling, movement and heart.
A student at the IATA in Namur, Marta won Cartier’s Talents Horlogers de Demain, a prize given to upand- coming clockmakers.
“The bee symbolises loyalty, hard work, intricate attention to detail — a mirror image of the clockmaker! Every detail evokes one of the five senses.”

Cartier are offering Marta two internships with them, a wonderful opportunity for this young ambassador of Walloon craftsmanship to gain an insight into watchmaking excellence.
