The Science and Technology Liaison officers of Wallonia-Brussels International in Canada, Germany and for the Nordic countries, in close collaboration with the SPW-Recherche, the FNRS, the Mecatech cluster, the Québec Ministry of Economy and Innovation, PRIMA Quebec, and with the support of the Bavarian Research Alliance, had the pleasure to organise an international R-D matchmaking event on battery materials on 28 April.
Related to the 2021 M-ERA.NET call for proposals, this virtual activity focused on materials for future batteries to support the development of a circular economy and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
The main highlights are:
- 105 participants from Quebec, Wallonia-Brussels, Bavaria, Sweden, Finland and Norway
- 15 high-quality pitches from Academia & industrial partners
- Dozens of B2B meetings and discussions of project proposals
