Formerly a project by SOWAer, the Walloon airport company, the logistical development west of Liège Airport is beginning to take shape. The Weerts Group is expected to construct warehouses measuring more than 250,000 m2 there. The group is keeping the details of its plans under wraps. They will first be shown to residents during an information session in early July. The zone is said to be sensitive, since it has already been impacted by work to extend the contingency track a few hectometres away, which involves filling in a former sand pit.
