At the Locarno Film Festival, L’immense retour (romance) - The Fullness of Time (Romance) - by Manon Coubia, presented in the “Pardi di domani” international competition, was awarded the Pardino d’oro for best short and nominated for the European Film Awards.

Presented at its world premiere, L’immense retour (romance) was competing with twenty-six films from all over the world.

L'immense retour (Romance) is the fictional account of a true adventure, a journey through time, one of those fantastic tales produced by the mountains, brought back to us by those who return from them ... sometimes a few decades later ...

L’immense retour (romance) is produced in Belgium by Voa Films with the support of the Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and the CBA.

Founded in 1946, the Locarno Film Festival is one of the oldest film festivals in the world. It was set up with objective of discovering the new trends in cinema and has often been the first to recognise the genius of young directors who have gone on to make a name for themselves as leaders of their generation.

With the aim of giving a platform to young talent, the short and medium-length film competition "Pardi di domani" is dedicated to young film makers who have not yet directed a feature film.
