Chocolate and beer, we know all about them in Wallonia...
But you would be surprised to hear that Quebec has developed recipes, thanks either to bold entrepreneurs or to expatriates sharing their expertise. Take Alain from the Chocolaterie Vanden Eynden in Orford (approx. one hour from Montreal). Amongst beautiful natural surroundings and mountains, he has built up a business which his son has now joined in preparation to take it over.
Alain can sculpt a Brussels' Manneken-Pis or a Montreal Olympic stadium. So at least make a detour or visit his page at www.facebook.com/chocolats.vanden.eynden/.
If all the brewers and chocolate-makers in Belgium came together with their Quebec equivalent, what a party we could have.
