At its store at Liege Airport, the Liege-based firm "Brut & Wine" is currently exhibiting a bottle of rum worth several tens of thousands of euros. This exorbitant price can be explained as much by the quality of the contents (an exceptional rum dating from 1966) as the bottle itself which is a veritable jewel. The first bottle of its kind was sold for €100,000 euros. The eight other replicas will certainly be sold for slightly less.

Therefore, it is an exceptional bottle which "Brut & Wine", specialising in the sale of top-of-the-range wines and spirits, is exhibiting at its store at Bierset airport. A great rum maker and a jeweller joined forces to create this rare bottle.

Laurent Reynders, the manager of Brut and Wine: "The rum dates from 1966. It is a rum without equal in terms of quality and taste. They joined forces with the Parisian jeweller Tournaire and also Baccarat. With a solid bronze base, it is truly an object of great beauty. The jeweller, Tournaire, made an 18-carat gold cork, sculpted out of solid gold, depicting the Maison Clément. Even the tiles are in pink gold. When people see it, they'll say "yes, I understand why!".

Rum lovers and collectors take note.
