A 4% increase in passenger numbers was recorded at Brussels South Charleroi Airport in 2013, amounting to a total of 6,786 million passengers.
Every year the number of passengers increases, and the airport also serves new destinations and has an ever wider range of businesses.
Nevertheless, passenger numbers are expected to decrease in 2014, the reason being that the Irish airline Ryanair has decided to provide 10 air links from Zaventem airport as from February 2014.
Furthermore, a number of new links (e.g., Prague and Skopje) have been announced for 2014.
