The success of Walloon chocolate

Once again, Walloon chocolate will be in the spotlight at ISM.

What makes Walloon chocolate so successful? Quality and creativity.
Quality ingredients: carefully selected cocoa beans, natural flavours, exclusive use of butter and cocoa butter (and not other fats, as currently permitted), perfect grinding and conching processes… Whether dark, milk or white, in bars, pralines or figurines, chocolate from our regions offers a generous and deep flavour that is truly incomparable.

Building on centuries-old expertise, today’s Walloon chocolatiers dare to create new recipes, never-seen-before presentations and bold flavour pairings.

While our German, French and British neighbours are among the most enthusiastic fans, Walloon chocolate is also enjoyed in the United States, Canada and Japan. Major brands are synonymous worldwide with luxury and refinement. Overall, Belgium ranks as the world’s second-largest chocolate exporter.
